Over the past one year, CADA has been taking a leading role to organize the Chinese Community Outreach Committee (CCOC) in Howard County. The CCOC is formed by community leaders from local Chinese Churches, Chinese Schools, and various organizations. The mission of CCOC is to make a united voice for the Chinese communities in Howard County to ensure that the Chinese Communities are well represented. Dr Yen Li from NIH has kindly accepted the Chairman position for the CCOC. Currently, four CCOC committee members and two CADA members are serving on the AAHC board of directors to represent Chinese communities.
