Regular membership is open to any licensed physician or dentist in good standing in at least one state of the United States. These include retired or other physicians who were licensed but no longer maintain an active license. Physicians in active clinical fellowship training programs are also eligible for regular membership.

Resident membership is open to any physician enrolled in an accredited residency program in the United States.

Student membership is open to any medical student enrolled in good standing in an accredited medical or dental school in the United States.

Associate membership is open to: Any medical school or dental school graduate who has never been licensed to practice medicine or dentistry in the United States but is involved in health care delivery and biomedical research. Any associated healthcare professional, such as physician assistant, nurse, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physical therapist, alternative medicine practitioner, and Ph.D. graduate who is involved in health care delivery and biomedical research in the United States.

Honorary Membership is open to distinguished individual who has made extraordinary contributions to CADA, Chinese Communities or the progress in health care delivery and biomedical research. Honorary membership requires approval by CADA Board of Directors.

Lifetime Membership is open to any regular or associate members who have made a long-term commitment to promote CADA missions and have met the criteria of financial support to CADA as described below.

Membership Annual Dues

Regular Membership: $100

Resident Membership: $50

Student Membership: $20

Associate Membership: $30

Lifetime Membership: Regular and associate members who have made a one-time contribution of 10x the amount of their annual membership dues meet the financial qualification for lifetime members. Lifetime members’ annual dues are permanently waived.

Honorary Membership: Annual dues are waived for honorary members

Payment Requirement: Annual dues are payable upon acceptance to CADA and before March 1 of each calendar year.

Voting Privileges

Student members, resident members, and associate members are not eligible for electing or being elected to be supervisors, directors, and officers of CADA. Each regular member has one vote. Members do not have to be present to vote. Voting by proxy is allowed.
